If you simply want 1080p at 60fps with a decent graphics card (anything over a 960 should be good. Read the instructions in the ini file carefully to understand what settings are what and what your PC is likely to handle. While the PC version suffers from a locked 720p resolution and no graphics options! The original 360 version has the horrible over the shoulder camera and wonky controls and the PS3 version has a horrifically bad framerate.
Unfortunately, it is one that is mostly hindered by the unfortunate fact that every single version of this game has serious problems in one form or another. Like Twin Peaks, Deadly Premonition is a wonderful, bizarre and unique experience. Since the recent release of the new season of Twin Peaks, I expect there will be an increase in people interested in playing the magical wonder that is Deadly Premonition (which was heavily inspired by Twin Peaks).
